Movie shows multiple victim shooting stopped by person with gun
This movie appears to definitely have its problems. The protagonist, Christian Slater, stops the killer, but apparently he also had "thoughts of terminating his co-workers." Why can't he just be a permit holder who saves lives? Anyway, for those interested, please go here.
The way I figure it, Hollywood turns out an overtly pro-gun movie roughly once a decade. This must be pretty small stuff since I haven't heard of it, but I'll Netflix it in a few days after the DVD release.
Did you ever end up seeing The Brave One? I know what Jodie Foster said about how guns are bad, but it certainly seemed to endorse their use to me.
Amazed how lucky I am that I have had jobs where I could just think about whatever I wanted to think about.
This summer I will be moving to the University of Maryland. Previously I held positions at the University of Chicago, Yale University, Stanford, UCLA, Wharton, and Rice and was the chief economist at the United States Sentencing Commission during 1988 and 1989. I have published over 90 articles in academic journals. I received my Ph.D. in economics from UCLA in 1984.
