Among College Students Men and Women talk about the same

Another stereotype - chatty gals and taciturn guys - bites the dust. Turns out, when you actually count the words, there isn't much difference between the sexes when it comes to talking. . . . .

New research shows that on average, women talk only slightly more than men -- and in workplaces, men talk more. . . . .

There are a couple obvious caveats to make about this research. 1) 390 people is small. 2) What might be true for college students might not be true for others.
