About Me
Amazed how lucky I am that I have had jobs where I could just think about whatever I wanted to think about. This summer I will be moving to the University of Maryland. Previously I held positions at the University of Chicago, Yale University, Stanford, UCLA, Wharton, and Rice and was the chief economist at the United States Sentencing Commission during 1988 and 1989. I have published over 90 articles in academic journals. I received my Ph.D. in economics from UCLA in 1984.

2 Comments:
Mayor Bloomberg and his private investigator henchmen/women should all have Virginia warrants served to them and be tried for the actual felonies they appear to be so proud of.

Bloomberg probably has armed bodyguards surrounding him 24/7. He does because a real threat of harm exists; but he does not want citizens of New York to be armed because he is better than the citizens he rules over; he deserves protection but his subjects do not, and that's because he's a gun grabbing, gun banning freedom hating dictator. When government disregards the Bill of Rights by stepping over the 2nd Amendment it makes us it's slaves and makes itself our master.
Gun dealers that sell large quantities don't violate the 2nd amendment, therefore they have done nothing immoral.
Laws on gun sales don't make us safer they make us less free and less safe. The worst crimes have been committed without firearms - 9/11 and the Oklahoma City Federal bldg bombing.
